Description This is your chance to try something new and completely different on horseback. Riders will use a special piece of equipment called a surcingle to balance and hold onto the horse. The horse will be on a lunge line and controlled by an instructor. After learning different vaulting movements (gymnastics on horseback) riders will test their skills on a moving horse. Vaulting is a totally different experience than riding. It’s fun, new and gives you a distinctive and memorable horse experience. We always end up with a lot of laughing during the class. Vaulting movements will differ depending on the level of your group; beginners do just as great as advanced students. If you are ready for an amusing and stimulating challenge be sure to sign up for Vaulting! Students should wear soft-soled shoes like tennis shoes (NO BOOTS), and comfortable clothing they can move around in for this activity.
